Freetimers Monthly Breakfast will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Davidson’s on Route 62 in Cornersburg. All Youngstown State University retirees are invited to come, eat and socialize.

Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet for their annual summer picnic at noon Friday at Lowellville City Hall conference room. Ernie Ciarniello will preside. Picnic lunch will be provided by Phyllis Nolfi of Gianna’s Catering. For reservations, call Janet Davanzo at 330-793-3176. This is an “invite a guest” meeting. New members are welcome. No need to be a Lowellville resident to join. Any illnesses or deaths among members should be reported to Mary Mascarella, sunshine chairwoman at 330-536-8748.

PERI, Mahoning County Chapter 18 will meet at noon Tuesday at Avion Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Boardman. Guest speaker will be Debbie Liptak, director of development for Youngstown Public Libraries. Menu includes stuffed pork chops, roasted red potatoes, grilled vegetables, salad, bread and butter, spumoni for dessert and coffee, tea and soft drinks. Cost is $13 for members, associate members and guests and are payable at the door. Deadline for reservations and cancellations was July 24.

PERI, Trumbull County Chapter 56 will meet at 11:15 a.m. Aug. 9 at DiLucia’s Restaurant, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. There will be no speaker because of summer picnic. 1418 Auxiliary Seniors will meet at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 8 at the Bedford Trails Golf Course Restaurant on Bedford Road in Coitsville. Members may order from the menu on their own. John Texter will preside. Illness or death among members should be reported to Pat Bozichovich at 330-755-7552.
