Sinead O’Connor rushed back to hospital after sharing worrying clip: ‘Totally destroyed’ | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

The 50-year-old told her followers on Facebook that she was “totally destroyed again” and that the ambulance was on its way to take her back to hospital, despite recently insisting that she’d had a “beautiful week”.

Sinead explained: “Ok I’m totally destroyed now again, I’m going to have to go back to the hospital. Haven’t been able to sleep all night, nightmare.

“[I’m] just not able to make it outside the hospital. This is unbearable, unbearable, its absof**kinglutley unbearable without my children, my loved ones.”

Fighting back tears, the Nothing Compares 2 U hitmaker went on: “I can’t manage to live at home for 24 hours. The ambulance is on the way to get me.”

She also thanked the doctors and nurses for everything that they had done for her already.

The latest upload comes after Sinead – who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder more than a decade ago and has struggled with depression and post-traumatic stress disorder over the years – explained in a video taken in a $70-a-night Travelodge where she’d been staying: “I hope that this video is somehow helpful.

“Not to me, but the fact I know that I am only one of millions and millions and millions of people who are just like me, actually, that don’t necessarily have the resources I have in my heart and my purse.”

The singer continued: “I am now living in a Travelodge motel in the a**e end of New Jersey. I’m all by myself.”

Sinead added: “And there’s absolutely nobody in my life except my doctor, my psychiatrist – the sweetest man on earth, who says I’m his hero – and that’s about the only f**king thing keeping me alive at the moment, the fact that I’m his bloody hero… and that’s kind of pathetic.

“Mental illness, it’s a bit like drugs, it doesn’t give a s**t who you are. And you know what’s worse? The stigma doesn’t give a s**t who you are.”

Her post sparked concern online, with many followers immediately commenting to say how worried they were about her.
