The Milwaukee-Waukesha radio market is getting a liberal talk radio station Feb. 1.

Wisconsin-based Devil’s Advocate Radio Show announced Friday that it struck a deal to acquire WRRD-AM (1510) from current licensee Good Karma Brands.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The format change will take place Feb. 1 even as the application for the Federal Communications Commission license transfer is processed. The station currently airs Spanish-language sports ESPN Deportes.

The station has a 25,000-watt daytime signal that covers the Milwaukee metropolitan area. The station will also simulcast on a live stream, 24 hours daily.
