Former tennis world number one Yevgeny Kafelnikov says he is a ‘failed father’ who is facing ‘hell’ over concerns about his waif-like model daughter Alesya.
There have been claims the 18-year-old is suffering from anorexia, which she denies.
Recent reports have suggested the London-based model has been in intensive care in recent days.
Kafelnikov, 43, is known to have objected to her choice of boyfriend, but the latest reports suggest Alesya has split from Russian rap singer Pharaoh, 21, real name Gleb Golubin.

He earlier revealed he had warned the pop star about drugs.
‘I said: “Don’t even think about doing it with my daughter”.’
But in a series of new tweets the former tennis ace appeared crushed.
He did not mention his daughter by name but left little doubt he was referring to her, posting: ‘I’m in ‘hell’! Future life begins to lose any sense.’
He declared: ‘I am a failed father! This is the worst for any parent, to realise this. But I don’t deserve this.’
His emotions pouring out, he declared: ‘I can’t hold it inside myself any longer!!! Help.’
Kafelnikov said: ‘I’ve never been shy to speak about my problems openly. I will continue doing so in future.’
The former world number one had earlier expressed worries about his daughter’s death, alluding to her slim body shape.
He told Sovetsky Sport newspaper today: ‘I am not ready to comment on what’s going on yet.
