Chris Wallace, Tim DuBois and Moria Forbes will be the featured presenters for the 2017-18 Tulsa Business Forums, presented annually by the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University along with corporate sponsors.
Wallace, an award-winning veteran journalist and host of “Fox News Sunday,” will kick off the speaker series from 10-11:30 a.m. Nov. 1 at the Mabee Center by presenting “America Under President Trump: A View From Washington.”
DuBois, an award-winning songwriter, producer and music executive and president of Tim DuBois Music, will discuss “Creative Leadership: From Debits and Credits to Rhythm and Rhyme,” from noon to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Downtown DoubleTree Hotel.
Forbes, president and publisher of ForbesWoman, will speak on “Leading through Power Change,” from noon to 1:30 p.m. April 17 at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center.
Registration is $200 a person for the series or $2,750 for a table sponsorship for the series. Tulsa Business Forums sponsorships include special events with the speaker and other benefits.
OK Ethics to hold panel on corporate social responsibility on Aug. 24
Oklahoma Business Ethic Consortium will sponsor a panel discussion at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 24 on corporate social responsibility and its ethical implications.
Topics will include the best ways for a company to outline and implement a successful corporate responsibility plan and how it can help both a company’s bottom line and its ethical standing.
Alison Anthony, chief operating officer for the Tulsa Area United Way and formerly with The Williams Cos., will moderate the panel.
