Just slightly over a month since Apple had introduced the new iPhone trio, the Cupertino company will be having another special event in less than two weeks' time.

Japanese blog Mac Otakara is now getting in on the action. The new iPad Pro, MacBook Air, Mac Mini, and other devices are expected to make an appearance. If legit, this means the smaller iPad Pro model will measure in at 178mm wide and 247mm tall, while the larger-screened model will come in at 215mm x 280mm.

As rumoured, Apple has just announced that it will be holding an event on October 30 at Brooklyn Academy of Music, Howard Gilman Opera House, New York, US.

Along with the launch of the two devices, Huawei is expected to announce the price and sale details for the phones . The Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are the company's latest flagship smartphones which will carry it through 2018.

When Apple launched its new iPhones back in September, the company did a good job of fleshing out its handset lineup with the iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. The headphone jack might also be cut from the tablet.

Faster processor, better camera and the addition of Face ID are also expected, with this the first iPad to lose the famous home button. My ZDNet colleague Jason Perlow has done a fine job of outlining the iPad Pro that we're likely to see. Do keep your fingers crossed as Apple may surprise us. It is, however, the second Apple product launch outside of California this year. Apple has developed a low-priced notebook with a Retina display, according to reports, and it would serve as a follow-up to the outdated MacBook Air.

Currently, we've no idea exactly what Mac product Apple will bring to the October event, but with 2018 so far seeing fewer of the range than other years, it's nearly definite there will be at least one.
