Google-owned YouTube says a widespread issue with some of its services has been resolved, nearly two hours after several people took to social media to complain about broadcasting issues. The Team Youtube had taken cognizance of the major issue saying that "it is working to resolve issue".

The outage appeared to begin some time around 9:45 p.m. ET and ended about an hour later.

Police later said the suspect, who was badly wounded when police arrived, claimed to be a member of the Islamic State (IS). German railroad operator Deutsche Bahn tweeted that some of the station's tracks were shut down temporarily.

Youtube, a video service of Google, is crashing. "If you continue to experience issues, please let us know", said YouTube as qouted by ANI. Users can now head over to, where they'll see a personalized feed of content on the top of the page, curated from sources like subscribed channels, new uploads & live-streams, as well as trending videos. But as the company has said, it is working on restoring the services back again, which has become a necessity in the lives of many.

A map on DownDetector, which tracks status information and outages for various types of services in real time, showed that users in the United States, Brazil, Japan, parts of Australia, Southeast Asia and Western Europe were affected. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated", Team YouTube posted. On the app, an error message read, "There was a problem with the network [503]".
