The Mega Millions drawing at 11 p.m. Friday has a jackpot of $548 million, the third-largest in the game's history and the ninth-largest of all jackpots played in the United States. Lottery officials will likely announce sometime Saturday if there was a winning ticket. Those winning tickets were sold in California, Colorado, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Friday's drawing was the 23rd time no one matched all six numbers.

Typically once it's known whether or not someone won, MegaMillions updates its website to either restart the jackpot at $40 million or to increase the estimated jackpot for the next drawing on Tuesday if no one won.

The current jackpot is the ninth largest of any US lottery.

The jackpot victor will need to match numbers on all five white balls and the Mega Ball.
