Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho said on Monday that he is not anxious about his future despite the club's poor run of form.

Sanchez, who was courted by his former Barca boss Pep Guardiola, eventually joined Old Trafford, dealing a blow to City in the transfer market and of generating more social media traffic than Neymar's world-record move to Paris Saint-Germain.

After the Champions League tie midweek, United hosts Newcastle on Saturday.

Asked whether he was anxious about his job should his side's poor form continue, Mourinho replied: "No".

"For me it's still City", he said.

Mourinho redirected the question from a Spanish reporter to the journalist that wrote the story, joking at a packed press conference that he had "put a bug on my telephone".

Pogba criticized Jose Mourinho's tactics at Old Trafford, and he suffered the effect by losing his position as the vice captain of Manchester United.

"I look forward to that match on Tuesday and I hope the majority of the players have this same kind of mentality, and that they are looking forward to Tuesday".

"When you play a long time with another team and you play different football in that other team you have some kind of adaptation that you have to have", said the Frenchman.

"That's a private matter", Mourinho added.

"I am not really anxious about it because we have wingers that are able to score". You need buy in from your players and you need sometimes the right message to be coming out.

"We're not going to win the title in this (game, against Liverpool)", he said of a match where Eden Hazard had given Chelsea the lead. "The most important thing is tomorrow's game, what happens in it and achieving a positive result".

"I'm not speaking out of turn here", Carragher told Sky Sports.

Their relationship became totally strained the other week though when, after the draw to Wolves, in which Pogba gave the ball away for the away side's equaliser, Pogba criticised the way the team played saying, "We are at home and we should play much better against Wolves".
