No-win situation: Browns can't finish in tie with Steelers

One week in and the Browns are still undefeated.

The Pittsburgh Steelers tied - yes, tied! - the Cleveland Browns on Sunday in an ugly 21-21 game.

It was the NFL's first tie in Week 1 since 1971 and the league's first overall since Washington and Cincinnati ended in a 27-27 deadlock on October 30, 2016.

The Steelers took over at their 17, but punted from their 28 after Larry Ogunjobi sacked Roethlisberger for a 10-yard loss. Conner also did a nice job in pass protection, but he also lost a fumble late in the fourth quarter that jump-started a Browns comeback in a game that ended in a 21-21 tie.

After being up 21-7 entering the fourth quarter, the Steelers allowed the Browns to score twice in the game's final quarter to force overtime. "They definitely were in there a little quick".

"Obviously disappointed at the outcome, a tie game", Browns coach Hue Jackson said after the game. "Nothing", said Jackson, who has turned play calling over to coordinator Todd Haley this season. Once again, they went three-and-out, and this time, they had another special-teams gaffe. I did not want our players to go home without a victory. Sometimes guys got to be in the right spot. "It's the equivalent of a loss to me".

Something the Steelers have done with regularity against the Browns since Cleveland re-entered the league in 1999.

Del Potro through to final as injured Nadal retires
Nadal's challenge looked doomed even as early as the first set, as he was feeling the injury after just four games, he admitted. Djokovic's most recent win over him was in the quarter-finals at Wimbledon this summer, on his way to winning the title.

The Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line powered running back James Conner to 135 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. He kicked off the two-play drive with a 17-yard blast as the Browns' defense got gashed on the ground by the second-year back out of Pitt. They opened up creases and Conner took advantage. The lightning quick pass catcher had three targets on the day.

Cleveland gave up seven sacks and committed 11 penalties, including four on false starts.

Garrett got one of the things he came for: his first sack of Roethlisberger, whom he vowed to "chop down" past year shortly after being drafted No. 1 overall.

"We've just got to finish the game out", Burns said. "Denzel is one of them".

BREATHE EASY, WISCONSIN: Aaron Rodgers returned in the second half after being carted off the field with a knee injury and led the Packers back from a 20-0 deficit to a 24-23 win over the Bears.

He also had an interception in the second quarter, the Browns forced three turnovers in the first half.

It was a tough week for Browns rookie guard Austin Corbett.
