Apple's big iPhone reveal event will be held in the new Steve Jobs Theatre at the company's headquarters in Cupertino. With September right around the corner, we won't have to wait long to see what Apple has up its sleeve. The picture not only reveals the design of the two phones but also confirms that both the iPhones will come in gold colour.

This year is expected to be an "S year", which fits with the purported leaked name "iPhone XS".

And since the event invitation significantly used the colour gold, it fuels speculation that the company plans to launch a gold-coloured successor to the premium iPhone X, which was only available in silver and grey previous year. Hardly a surprise, Apple for years has been exploring ways to make iPhone displays thinner, lighter, and more energy-efficient.

And a mid-range iPhone with a 6.1-inch LCD display. As far as connectivity concerned, Apple could launch it with LTE and WiFi options. Apple is also expected to launch a third iPhone model that could have the same facial recognition sensor but a price closer to $700 than $1000. This means, there's no iPhone XS Plus.

Other than this, there will be other features part of the upgraded devices as well. It will continue to have a glass back with stainless steel edges and dual cameras on the back.

Nearly everything has already been leaked about these upcoming iPhones.

Those two OLED iPhones can be seen in the image shared by 9to5Mac and highlight the size differences between them. The most notable launch this year in the iPhone line-up will be the iPhone with a 6.5-inch display which is said to be the largest display ever in any iPhone till date.

Apple has for years released its new phone models in the second week of September, and often updates other product lines such as the Apple Watch at the event.

Official renders of the next iPhone - due to be unveiled on September 12 - have been leaked online.
