Finally, ZDNet Korea claims that preorders for the Galaxy Watch will begin on August 14th - just five days after the Galaxy Note 9 Unpacked event takes place in New York City on August 9th.

Apple is also reported to launch three devices, a 5.8-inch OLED, 6.1-inch LCD and 6.5 inch OLED. The biggest difference is apparently the position of the fingerprint sensor that has been moved from the vertical-positioned sensor next to the dual rear camera setup that was featured on the Galaxy Note 8 past year to a horizontal-oriented sensor.

We have been discussing foldable phones for what feels like a few years now. We have also heard the rumors that at least one of the models will feature a higher pixel density of 600 PPI, which is an increase of 30 PPI over the current models.

First lady Melania Trump was also aboard and was involved in some of the discussions, the people familiar with the matter said.

The Galaxy Note 9 will likely make its official debut on August 9th, but as is usually the case with hotly anticipated phones, images of Samsung's next big thing have leaked out ahead of the event.

The Note 8 also had a horizontal dual-rear camera.

It's a great tool and can be genuinely useful at times, but for whatever reason, some users have been reporting that Facebook-developed apps aren't showing up here at all. There have been questions about how large the external display will be, and the answer now seems to be "not very". This means that Samsung is not going all near bezel-less display as other smartphone players in the market. From all sides, the phone's frame is thicker than the one even on last year's Note 8 and the Samsung-signature Edge design curve is much, much less pronounced. With the Galaxy S8 we saw a launch in April, while the Galaxy S9 was a tad early in March, but either way March-April is probably a good estimate. Separately, a couple of hands-on images of the upcoming Galaxy Note model has been leaked.
