Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump will have a detailed discussion about Syria when they meet in July, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.

This would be Trump's first summit with Putin, even though the leaders have met twice in the last one and half year.

"In my meeting with President Putin, he was very kind to go through the whole list of items on his agenda", Bolton said.

Russian Federation seized Crimea in 2014 after sending in troops, taking over key facilities, and staging a referendum deemed illegitimate by at least 100 countries in the United Nations.

Speaking about the meddling, Bolton told the Fox News Sunday programme: "I think it's something that we're concerned about".

"He said he didn't meddle". Cantwell asked. "I'm interested in hearing. if the president is under indictment, what is that nominee going to do about that?"

At the same time, Trump has also repeatedly stated that he wants to improve relations with Moscow, and recently advocated for Russian Federation to be readmitted into the G-7. However successful Russia's meddling efforts ultimately were, their goal was nonetheless realized, whether Trump is capable of accepting that or not.

Answering a question of journalists on the topic of the upcoming conversation the tramp said, "I'll speak with him about everything".

The summit is to be held four days after a North Atlantic Treaty Organisation meeting in Brussels, Belgium, where Trump will meet the leaders of the USA military allies.

Earlier in June, Bolton visited Moscow to prepare for the meeting, trump and Putin. Another source noted that always "agreed it was hard to know what Trump might say when he met Putin". Trump feuded with Group of Seven leaders during a summit in Canada last month over trade, abruptly dropping support for a routine joint statement. With the summit between the two leaders, Putin will get praises from his counterpart thus significantly improving his and Russia's image after annexing Crimea, military conflict in Syria, and tampering with the USA elections, all that happened in the last few years. "They did meddle in our election, and they're doing it again in 2018".

"We're going to have to see", Trump said when asked directly about the issue by reporters, Radio Free Europe reported. Bolton, without directly addressing the president's comment, said that was "not the position of the United States".
