E3 2018: New Kingdom Hearts III Trailer Features Pirates of the Caribbean

Square Enix debuted a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III during Sony Interactive Entertainmentt's E3 2018 press conference confirming a world based on Pirates of the Caribbean. It remains to be seen what Square Enix was saving for their own showcase but possibilities include the Final Fantasy VII remake as well as the previously announced Avengers video game. But again, Square Enix chose to show a slightly modified trailer from the Xbox press conference. However, Square Enix and Human Head have not confirmed the extent of the studio's involvement with this project.

We've seen plenty of times that Kingdom Hearts III will feature the Pixar portion of Disney. "The two most prominent examples are brief teasers from Halo Infinite-presumably Halo 6-and an even shorter teaser for Elder Scrolls 6 at Bethesda's "#BE3" showcase.

There is more information for the game being promised in August.

The world's of Final Fantasy XIV and Monster Hunter: World are coming together under one roof this summer in what appears to be a collaboration that pits Final Fantasy characters against beasts from Monster Hunter.

Outside of that, there was a sneak peek at a new title called The Quiet Man, which at first glance seems to be a title devoted to a deaf man punching Hispanic dudes in alleys throughout NY. However, when it was all said and done, Square Enix had very little to offer.

E3 2018 marked the return of Square Enix, as the company last held a press conference at the annual event in 2015.

We can't be sure, but it's going to be exciting for fans of both Japanese and western games.
