iOS 12, the next version of iOS - the operating system that runs on all iPhones and iPads - will hit Apple devices in the autumn of 2018, and we are likely to see a preview of it at WWDC in June.

It's pretty much nailed on that Apple will use the event to talk about iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS, but it's the scale of those announcements that could shock people. Now, the Messages app is finally totally in sync for both iOS and macOS.

Among the biggest announcements at Apple's WWDC 2018 are expected to be about iOS 12.

Apple has made remarkable improvements in augmented reality since after unveiling its first kit iOS 11, ARKit past year at WWDC.

Apple could also spill the beans on its new, more powerful MacBook and iPad devices.

Analysts believe Apple will try to inject more artificial intelligence and other new powers into Siri to make it more competitive with Google's digital assistant and Amazon's Alexa.

So what's in store for WWDC 2018? Several reports have surfaced that Apple will add something called Digital Health to the iOS 12. The operating systems themselves won't be available to the general public until the Fall, but Apple does have an earlier public beta program for eager iPhone, iPad and Mac users. In a way, it could be similar to the features that Google recently announced for Android P, which too aims to help users reduce their usage of smartphone.
