Giuliani arrives at the Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey.
Michael Avenatti says the president's attorney, Rudy Giuliani, "expects the American people to believe that he doesn't really know the facts" of when Trump learned about the $130,000 hush payment to Daniels, who has alleged a sexual tryst with Trump in 2006.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Well let's - let's - the other day you also told BuzzFeed, though, that at some point after the 2016 election, Michael Cohen had complained to some people that he hadn't been paid by Donald Trump. The cold open followed Stiller's Cohen as he called the president (played by Alec Baldwin), Rudy Giuliani (played, of course, by Kate McKinnon) and Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner (played by Scarlett Johansson and Jimmy Fallon, respectively), among many others, as the F.B.I. listened in.
Giuliani said on Friday that Cohen's payment to Daniels - one month before the November 2016 presidential election - did not violate campaign laws and would have been made even if Trump had not been running.
"The retainer agreement was to repay expenses, which turns out to have included this one", Mr. Giuliani said on ABC.
He called it "a nuisance payment" rather than "a settlement".
President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, appeared on ABC on Sunday and made a series of remarks that could further damage President Donald Trump. I never thought United States dollars 130,000 was a real payment, it's a nuisance payment.
"When the president said no on Air Force One", she said, "he was talking about he didn't know when the payment occurred". Two separate lines of credit were secured against NY real estate, including a condominium in Trump World Tower owned by Cohen's wife's parents.
Facebook fires engineer for misusing data access privileges and stalking women
The accusations against the unnamed employee were lodged Sunday by Jackie Stokes , the founder of Spyglass Security . On Tuesday, Business Insider reported that Facebook fired one of its engineers who was accused of doing just that .
When asked if Trump would be willing to testify before a grand jury in the Russian Federation investigation, Giuliani said he was looking for "the Hillary Clinton treatment", a reference to the FBI's interview of the former secretary of state during the investigation into her personal email server.
"Giuliani added later that "$130,000 between a lawyer and a client and - and a client who's worth, you know, billions, is not - George, you know, I don't like saying this, but it's not a great deal of money; $1.3 million is a great deal of money.
"Yeah right. Being president is like doing porn - once you do it, it's hard to do anything else", he said. "This guy is all over the map over the last 72 hours on some very simple facts that should be very straightforward".
"That's not a decision to be made now, there's no reason to be made now".
"Can't say that", Giuliani said. Baldwin's Trump asked Daniels.
"If we came to conclusion they have already made up their mind and Comey is telling the truth - that is a joke, Comey hasn't told the truth in years - then we would just be leading him into the lion's den", Giuliani said in an interview on Wednesday.
"The agreement with Michael Cohen, as far as I know, is a longstanding agreement, that Michael Cohen takes care of situations like this, then gets paid for them, sometimes", he said.
