The Oculus Go virtual reality headset is shipping today, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said at Facebook's F8 developer conference. In fact, attendees might even be getting their own Go to take home.

Oculus Go, the standalone, wire-free virtual reality (VR) headset from the makers of Oculus Rift, is now on sale. The Oculus Go minimizes friction and promotes a surprisingly capable baseline for bringing new consumers into VR for the first time.

The 32GB model is priced at $199, or if you want more storage, you can get a 64GB version for $249.

'Oculus Go is the easiest way to jump into virtual reality, ' the Amazon listing states. The headset is, of course, more comparable to the Gear VR when it comes to actual gameplay (they share the same game library), but Oculus has managed to make a number of improvements that make the cheap headset feel deeply luxurious to those familiar with mobile VR offerings to date.

The Cowboys now do not have a true Middle linebacker as Anthony Hitchens left in free agency to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs . Over the last several seasons, it has been no mystery who the leader of the Cowboys defense has been - Sean Lee .

Oculus Go will be cross-compatible with more than 1,000 Gear VR apps, so early adopters will have plenty of options on the Oculus Store.

Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg first revealed the Oculus Go at the Oculus Connect conference in San Jose last October. For high-end VR, you have to turn to the Oculus Rift. The 3D visuals are combined with spatial audio for complete immersion.

'Just put it on, switch it on, and watch a movie on a 30-foot screen, grab a front row seat at a sold out concert, play games right at the center of the action, or hang out with friends like never before, ' the listing continued. The glasses come bundled with a remote controller.
