In the 24th match of IPL 11 today, Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore are delevering the excitement of cricket in the chinnaswamy stadium of Bangalore.

Virat Kohli's RCB side posted 205-8 from their 20 overs, thanks in main to AB de Villiers' 68 from 30 balls, which contained eight sixes and two fours. Ambati Rayudu was the top scorer in the innings with a fine 82 runs off 53 balls.

Dhoni and Rayudu pounded the trio mercilessly.

Dhoni slammed seven sixes and a four, while Rayudu blazed eight sixes and three fours respectively. He received a reprieve on 61, when Umesh Yadav dropped a sitter at cover. "He has been a fantastic captain for us", de Villiers said prior to their match against the Chennai Super Kings, as quoted by the Times of India. After giving away just three singles in first four balls, Mohammed Siraj was hit for a six by Dhoni and all hell broke loose as the bowler bowled three consecutive wide balls to give away 14 in the over, leaving CSK to chase 16 off last over which the visitors did comfortably.

RCB's was a odd innings as it saw two wicket-maiden overs and a triple-wicket final over, which also fetched the home team 14 runs. The wickets of de Kock and de Villiers swung the momentum in favour of CSK.

Predictions: Should RCB and CSK bat well, we will see some fireworks tonight and a cracker of a game. "Their bowling, apart from Umesh Yadav, has failed to withstand the pressure of top quality batting and that has left them exposed time and time again".

And then Imran Tahir removed the dangerman, De Villiers tempted into a leading edge to sweeper cover, before snaffling Corey Anderson (2) with the next ball.

With the hosts comfortably placed at 142/4, Mandeep Singh (32 off 17; 4×1, 6×3) and Colin de Grandhomme (11) struck a few lusty blows towards the end, even as two run-outs and a wicket in the final over could not stop RCB from crossing the 200-run mark.
