After Sunday's Shooting, The Tennessee Waffle House Is Open Again

An employee said 100 percent of the profits made at the Waffle House on Murfreesboro Pike for the next month will go to the victims' families.

The campaign was started by James Shaw Jr., who snatched an AR-15 rifle away from accused gunman Travis Reinking during Sunday's attack.

He said he never thought he'd be in a room with all eyes on him.

Hartline said that nothing about Reinking's behavior was unusual on March 19 or 20, but on April 11, about a week and a half before the Antioch shooting, his shop received a freaky call from the 29-year-old. He apologized to the people whose loved ones died in the attack.

When Reinking paused his firing, Shaw rushed him and wrestled the gun away from him before throwing it over the restaurant's counter.

Police records showed that Reinking had a series of increasingly troubled encounters with authorities since 2016.

Reinking faces four counts of criminal homicide after he was nabbed Monday afternoon, a day after he allegedly unleashed the hail of bullets.

"They may have reached out to the store, but I'm a hard guy to get a hold of", he said.

But Darlene Sustrich said Reinking began showing signs of paranoia in his last few days at the crane service.

It was also argued that The Rajya Sabha Chairman could not reject the notice if it met the requirements of 50 signatures. The two Petitions had been filed demanding an independent probe into allegations of corruption in the higher judiciary.

The state Senate also honoured Shaw on Tuesday. "Help him if you can", Sustrsich said.

The NRA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Tazewell County Sheriff's Office in IL, where the 29-year-old suspect lived before relocating to Tennessee, said the state police last summer asked the office to revoke a card allowing Reinking to possess guns and ammunition in IL.

Nashville's WTVF, meanwhile, chatted with Chuck Cordero outside the restaurant this morning - he was at Waffle House when the shooting happened, visiting his friend Taurean Sanderlin, an employee who was among the four victims.

Shooting suspect Travis Reinking was captured Monday in Nashville, Tenn.

During a hearing before a court magistrate on Monday, Reinking's bond was set at $2 million. While the police were locating him, though, they searched his apartment and found multiple guns and gun paraphernalia, including a Remington rifle with a magazine, cartridges for different calibers of guns, two rifle scopes and gun cleaning equipment.

Reinking is on suicide watch at the maximum-security Metro Jail in Nashville, according to Davidson County Sheriff Daron Hall. On top of once trespassing near the White House (and getting a visit from the Secret Service) and claiming that Taylor Swift was stalking him, he also erased the hard drive on his laptop.

According to federal officials, his father's conduct is "potentially a violation of federal law", the Post reported. The AR-15 used in the deadly Sunday shooting was among the firearms seized.

Stewart Umholtz, the Tazewell County State's Attorney, said Tuesday that so far, his office did not have enough information to know yet if the elder Reinking committed a crime.
