Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens Charged With Second Felony

"To be specific, within the last several days we have obtained evidence of potential criminal violations of Missouri law and the evidence indicates that these potentially criminal acts were committed by Governor Eric Greitens".

ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis prosecutors on Friday charged Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens with a felony for using a charity donor list for his 2016 political campaign, adding to the woes of the first-term governor who responded by calling it another effort to "smear" him.

Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley announced Tuesday that his investigation into Greitens' charity, The Mission Continues, has uncovered evidence of criminal activity. The Circuit Attorney's Office has asked that a warrant be issued (again) for the governor's arrest.

"These are serious charges - and an important reminder that no one is above the law in Missouri", Mr. Hawley said on Friday after the new charge was announced.

Greitens is accused of allegedly taking a picture of a bound and partially nude woman with whom he was having an affair with at the time and threatened to blackmail her if she made the affair public.

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner on Friday charged the Republican governor with felony tampering with computer data.

Court documents also allege that Greitens and 'K.T.' disclosed the donor list to the fundraiser for the goal of obtaining property of $500 or more. Although he initially denied the allegations, Greitens agreed to pay a $100 fine in April of a year ago for failing to report that his gubernatorial campaign had, in fact, received the charity's donor list.

"Her case is falling apart - so today, she's brought a new one", Greitens said.

Greitens directed a person identified as K.T.to disclose the charity's donor list to a political fund-raiser on April 22, 2015, knowing that it was taken without permission and used without consent, according to a probable cause statement.

Motorola 'Moto G6' series leaked ahead of launch
Along with these, Motorola is scheduled to launch the G6 Plus and a regular E5 model; but these shall not be launched in the US. It sounds like a big jump but it's pretty normal for 2018 and even if you're not used to it yet, you'll quickly get on-board.

Hawley also provided the evidence from his investigation into the governor's charity to the House committee, which plans to release its own investigation into the governor's charity in the near future. Dowd said in a statement.

House Minority Leader Gail McCann Beatty, a Democrat, cited the new charge as additional grounds for lawmakers to try to quickly remove Greitens from office.

It is the second felony he has been charged with this year.

Greitens, 44, a married father of two has acknowledged a months-long affair but denied any criminal wrongdoing, asserting he is the victim of a political witch hunt. By now, everyone knows what this is: this prosecutor will use any charge she can to smear me.

Meanwhile, the felony invasion of privacy case against the governor will continue.

His attorney, Ed Dowd, said, "This charge makes no sense at all". Not only did he create this list donor by donor, friend by friend, but the Mission Continues still has the list.

"The attorney general called for the governor's resignation because the House Investigative Committee reported substantial evidence of sexual, violent misconduct by the governor", Compton said.

"Prosecutors found probable cause to believe that Governor Greitens violated Missouri State Statute 569.095 that was in place at the time of the incident", the office said in the release. Josh has turned the "evidence" he claims to have over to St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner - a liberal prosecutor funded by George Soros who allegedly suborned perjury, falsified documents, and withheld evidence.
