The Philadelphia 76ers have announced that All-Star center Joel Embiid is officially listed as Doubtful for tomorrow night's Game 3 in Miami.

"I promised the city the playoffs and I'm not on the court and I may not be on Thursday either", Embiid said.

After going 18-of-28 from three-point range in Game 1, the Sixers went 7-of-36 from the land of plenty during Monday's loss.

"It's just in my DNA", Wade said following his vintage performance.

The passing-and-pushing offense that got the Sixers to the No. 3 seed in the East failed them for the first time since early March. "I feel like defensively is where my mind goes first".

Speaking to reporters after practice Wednesday, Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside said that he would be ready for a matchup against Joel Embiid if it were to happen this series.

Wade finished with 28 points in 26 minutes on 11-of-16 shooting from the field as he posted a team high +16. "I love the stage". Simmons dished out 14 assists.

Embiid, who is looking at a return to play following surgery to address a broken orbital bone on the left side of his face, will ultimately need final clearance from the surgical team responsible for performing the operation, per a source. He wants to play in front of the fans. The truer version of the Miami Heat was the team that was steamrolled the second half of Game 1 against the Sixers. Six offensive rebounds is an impressive stat by itself, but what does not show up on the score card is Ilyasova's hustle on almost every rebounding battle with the Heat's interior players. "But at this stage, this morning, we are listing him as doubtful".

Rookie swingman Ben Simmons, who rarely attempts to dial long distance, led the way on the offensive end with 24 points.

Dwyane Wade, one of Winslow's mentors during his first playoff run two years ago, ultimately ended up saving the Heat in Game 2.

Johnson responded by hitting a huge 3-pointer to put the Heat up 96-87. Look for the Sixers to win game 3 on the road and take back home court advantage.
