Daniels said she never saw the unidentified man again and did not file a police report, but she said that threat and lingering concerns about the effect of the alleged tryst on her growing daughter propelled her to take the payout from Trump's attorney Michael Cohen 11 days before the 2016 presidential election.

Clifford's attorney, Michael Avenatti, told The Associated Press on Wednesday that more details of the affair would come out on "60 Minutes", and said his office was checking out similar claims from six women who had come forward.

Ruddy said none of the allegations lodged by Clifford, which the White House has denied, have included claims of harassment.

Stormy Daniels is now suing Mr Trump so she can be released from the agreement.

Michael Avenatti, attorney and spokesman for Stormy Daniels, listens to reporters' questions during an interview at The Associated Press, Wednesday in NY. In exchange for not divulging details of the alleged affair, she received $130,000 from Trump's attorney Michael Cohen.

"Now we have a sitting US President ... who is threatening to sue a private citizen for over $20 million for talking about their relationship", Avenatti said last week.

The adult film star offered little new evidence for her allegation of a 2006 affair with Trump.

Leaarne Hollowood from Margaret River jumped out of bed to the scene when she heard about the whales on Friday morning. In 2009, more than 80 pilot whales and dolphins died in a mass stranding at Hamelin Bay on the same day - March 23.

The alleged affair overlapped the Presidents alleged affair with porn star Stormy.

Cohen has admitted to facilitating a payment to Daniels in 2016.

Those who have been following this story have likely noticed it has turned into a he-said-she-said matter.

Neither Clifford nor her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, are backing down to threats made by the president's personal attorney Michael Cohen, who's seeking almost $20 million in damages from the porn star's allegations in the media. Two days after filing a lawsuit against Mr Trump in Los Angeles Superior Court, he tweeted a photograph of himself with Ms Daniels and journalist Anderson Cooper with the Twitter handle @60Minutes and no further comment.

Asked by 60 Minutes' Anderson Cooper why she's choosing to break her silence now, Daniels said she wants to defend herself.

The former Playboy model says she had an affair with Trump over a decade ago, around the same time as Daniels' alleged relationship. "I thought I was the only one".
