Robinson spent a season in San Diego with the Chargers, a year in Indianapolis and then spent last season with the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

As it turns out, it will be a one-and-done - Robinson is expected to sign a four-year contract with the New Orleans Saints, a source close to the situation speaking on the condition of anonymity confirmed to NJ Advance Media.

The Saints selected him in the first round of the 2010 draft.

Trump Personal Assistant Reportedly Fired Over Security Issue

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network first reported the news.

Peterson, 30, was coming off his best National Football League season, matching career highs in interceptions (four) and passes defended (18). He also had a memorable 50-yard interception return for a touchdown in the NFC Championship Game against the Minnesota Vikings.

With Darby immediately lining up on the outside, Robinson found a home lining up over the slot. But Robinson would certainly represent an upgrade over Johnson Bademosi at cornerback and give them a reliable underneath corner. That improved defense helped New Orleans get back in the playoffs after going 7-9 three straight years.
